Hello Nasho's.
Well we have completed our allocated amount of barbecue's at Bunnings for the year, however should they have any cancellations from other fund raising groups, they will contact us.
Bob Whitten one of our most dedicated Nasho's passed away in June after a short illness. The funeral service by our Pastor Paul O'Brien and R.S.L. service by Sub Branch President Ron Mitcherson, with a guard of Honour by our Nasho's, which was very much appreciated by his wife Elaine, family and friends.
In May myself, my wife Margaret, accompanied by Bruce Robberds, Kevin and Janice Hargrave, attended the 10th Anniversary of Burwood District Sub Branch, held at Burwood Park.
The quarterly meetings with Nasho's and Combined Forces, was held at the Gosford R.S.L. in May, which I attended with Bruce Robberds. The branches of National Service in attendance, were Dungog, Maitland, Newcastle, Toukley, Tuggerah Lakes, Gosford and Westlakes. Our next meeting will be held at Mayfield R.S.L. at 10am on Friday 19th August. If you would like to attend please contact myself or Bruce Robberds.
Regarding our Nasho's Memorial at Goffet Park at Toronto, I spoke to "Edstein Creative Stone" who confirmed that installation is on target for August. To enable the committee to make this a memorable day, we would appreciate members to attend our meeting on the 18th July or if we require a special meeting at which time you will be notified.
Best wishes for health and happiness.
