My wife and I built our home in Bolton Point in 1962 and parented a daughter (teacher-winemaker, married to a beef farmer-grape grower in the Riverina), two sons (one teacher Newcastle and the other an air-side supervisor, Brisbane Airport).  My wife died in 2009 after a long battle with cancer.

For some time I have felt that those of us who are eligible, should join the local RSL sub-Branch and help to ensure that those services so hard won and made available to our returned service men and women and their families in the past, should continue for current and future veterans.  Having the time now to be more involved and hearing that Stephen Pritchard had died, I offered to undertake the training for this position in the hope that I could be of some help for those who may need it.
